Channel assignment of DVR channels to video windows will occur sequentially starting

with video window #1. Channel 1 of a single channel R1001 DVR will be assigned to

video window 1, channels 1 through 4 of a R4001 DVR will be assigned to video

channels 1 through 4 and channels 1 through 8 of a R8001 DVR will be assigned to video

channels 1 through 8.

Previous channel assignments for each window will be overwritten by the new

assignments, and all currently open channels will close.

After channel assignment, the process of establishing a network connection to the source

DVR will be initiated automatically. Upon establishment of a network connection, the

newly assigned channels will open, and the live video from each channel will be

displayed in its assigned video window. The DVR name shown in the DVR list and the

channel (camera) names entered for each channel using the Device Setup function will

appear in the title at the top of each video window.

Multiple Devices

To view live video from multiple DVRs simultaneously using BUS-WATCH® Live

View, individual channels from each source DVR are manually assigned to each video

window. The DVR and channel may be manually assigned to each video window

available in the viewing area.

Manual assignment may be used to change or add channel assignments for each video

window. Manual assignment functions for a given video window are accessed by right

clicking on the video window, and selecting an operation from a selection box. A

description of each manual assignment function is provided below.
